Hi, let's stay in touch!

Maybe for now at least. I've been home for almost 24 hours. About 22 hours have been spent in bed. Lovely. I needed some rest after the US tour. I'm actually feeling pretty good about myself because even though I was drinking like an animal in America I never felt that the heavy partying affected my performance or my mood in any way at all. That's routine I'd say. But, despite the positive reflections above, I know that the level of partying for us at some point must be reduced - otherwise some of us might be turned into sober members of the AA without being able to touch one drink again - and that's one of those things that split up bands in the end. And I want my band to last forever. I want my life to last forever because I'm addicted to being on the road and I never wanna stop doing that. This summer have been great. Every festival show we did was awesome. Especially opening up for Mötley Crüe in Helsinki. That moment felt like we had the whole Finland in our hands :). Or playing on the same stage as Guns n' Roses at Hellfest in France. I'll never forget when we where about to line check that morning, and there where empty cases all over the place with the Guns n' Roses logo on them, because they where gonna play a little later that day. That's just insane. Bang your head was special too - felt like the exact right thing to do. We will focus a little bit extra on Germany during 2013 because we feel our band is really starting to grow on you germans :). But to be honest I can't get USA out of my mind. I'm in love with California. I'm impressed with the level of politeness you americans so often show, at least to me and at the places I've been to. It's so different to here in Sweden when it's mostly about being negative & actually quite rude to each other. It might have something to do with our bad weather, but still, I cannot really understand that concept…. :(. In my opinion, life is just so much easier if you're polite and open and positive instead of rude & negative because negativity just eats energy and who can afford to waste energy…? That's just stupid. Well well…. We had so much fun in the US I don't even know where to start. Times Square in NY was cool at night. So was Harlem and the Lenox Lounge! Vegas is of course always breath taking. The Sunset Strip is like coming home. I'd wish we've seen more of Dallas though, seems like a nice place. Well, next time, hopefully! :) Mexico was cool as well - the Kiss lounge in Toluca was really something extra, with the nicest guy ever running the place. Thanks for taking care of us so well :). Same to Christian & Beristain Entertainment - you're the best - thanks for everything - let's do this again in 2013. Anywayz, our Generation Wild tour is basically over, except for a few more shows, we gotta focus on the next album now but I have a few other things I need to focus on as well. I've got a shit load of paper work to do. Bookkeeping and stuff. This is definitely not the best part of the music industry but if you'd let someone else do it you'd probably just get ripped of so I prefer to do it myself even though it's usually quite boring! I'll focus on staying sober and I'll focus on eating healthy, natural food with as less carbs as possible. I also gotta start doing some proper exercise again. It's hard to be motivated about these things when you're a drunk :). But I hope to see some changes later on, once my upcoming soberness kicks in! Right now I'll have one last drink before going back to sleep. Cheers! - - - Some photos that never made it to instagram: In Sweden we'd call them "Masturbation buns". And they probably wouldn't sell so good. Spotted at the Dallas airport. Leaving Mexico City. Best after-party ever :O I wish I had more pictures but that was it - but you already have us on instagram I suppose! If not follow realcrashdiet. Luv ya! //LONDON

Art of Chaos - CD DiGIPAK

Swedish glam metal torchbearers CRASHDÏET are back with their seventh studio album, Art of Chaos, set for release on May 8th via Ninetone Records. The band describes it as “the ten sleaziest tracks we’ve written in ages” — a high-voltage return to the raw attitude, big hooks, and filthy swagger that defined their early sound. Packed with big choruses, razor-sharp riffs, and that signature CRASHDÏET punch, Art of Chaos marks a fresh chapter for the band while staying true to the spirit that built their legacy. You can pre-order the album on CD/LP directly from our shop today.

Introducing....

We are thrilled to introduce Chris Young — from Midnight Danger, ex-Lipz — as our new bassist for the next touring cycle, stepping in while Peter takes a break. Chris saved our asses for the last three shows and blended right in, seamlessly. He will be part of everything CRASHDÏET does moving forward — recordings, live shows, music videos, etc. The passion for music is what drives us — entertaining people and making them feel good — and Chris fits that spirit perfectly.

Exciting news continues — stay tuned for more announcements next week!
