I only liked the original lineup (Slash, Duff, Izzy, Steven)
I think they had good chemistry writing together and on stage. I don't care for the new GNR...not at all.
I remember 1st seeing Guns N Roses when I was really little. I was watching MTV at my aunt's house, and a gnr music video came on, and I guess when I saw Duff, I turned to my aunt and yelled "He's so cute!" in a high pitched squeaky voice...she never lets me forget it.haha.
I really like few thing but overall they're not my fave cup of tea... and actually, the more it goes on the more axl is turning the joke of rock! I mean, hetifield was right when he called him axl pose, sadly!
Slash is over-rated. He got some good riffs and bluesy solos but people think he's better than what he really is due his image. Stupid. I value his time in GNR and how his image and superb guitar players made GNR a force to be reckonened with, but he wouldnt be anywhere without Axl. Axl made that band and made them at least stick togheter for a few years. If GNR had a singer like Vince Neil or with the drug habits of Nikki Sixx we wouldnt have heard one bit about GNR today.
To say Velvet Revolver's music is better than There Was A Time, Better, I.R.S, Chinese Democracy, Madagascar, The Blues or the excellent (but yet low quality) demo of Catcher in the Rye is like saying saying The Sex Pistols were better music composers than Beethoven.
