and not really a band? but more fun and in saying that did some recording then Dave found the crashdiet we all know and love to re-record and start new material?

I dont think so, I think he had this band in mind long before, and he just needed guys, so he came up with these boys. And look they stayed 3 years together. When you depend on how important the music was for dave (at least I think it was) then you can imagine that he dont wanted to waste 3 years only with jamming...

Yeah, the music was everything for Dave. He didn't even work, he just wrote songs.

Ok, this took a night of serious internet digging. They're not from the very first lineup but ass you can see they're pretty fukking early. I wish they were saved in their original size though.

I also found this one again...

I've looked at this picture so many times without noticing this one special detail... This probably is a picture (indirectly) of the OLD DÏET. And the picture is a proof that there actually was t-shirts made for the old dïet. Just check out Dave's t-shirt, It says "Crash Dïet" Just like Mary Goore of the Old Dïetist's said. And it's a different logo. I'm pretty sure that the band on the t-shirt is the Old Dïet.

That's amazing dude! Never seen it, I knew they played at club clampers once but I've never seen that poster.

I might share this with ya,

Now, Dave spelles it both Crash Diet and Crashdïet. But Seriously, Beyond The Valley of Dolls? It doesn't say that on the Crashdïet S/T EP from 2003 right? Not on the front atleast.
