That, and perhaps the mighty...

LUNA SEA

haha
LUNA SEA seemed to be younger brother band of X.
A member of LUNA SEA was a staff of Yoshiki.
And HIDE used to take care of them very much.
I loved their album "mother".

SUGIZO in red long hair played guitar and crystal violin.
And SHINYA was very awesome drummer.

This is Luna Sea

I downloaded all their albums (well, my brother did, but I use them  ) I can't past their first album. It's so good, it's insane. What great music. Never heard anything like that before. I believe HIDE discovered them in a bar. Good thing he did.

Oh, and I can't seem to find anything related to COLOR. Almost as if they don't exist. I could use some Hitomi Power for this ;)

Many bands respected HIDE and Yoshiki and Dynamite Tommy.
Actually they took care of a lots of metal bands.

Yoshiki had a big independent label "EXTASY RECORDS".
Dynamite Tommy had "Free-Will".

And they used to hold big rock event "EXTASY SUMMIT".
You might be able to find the video of "EXTASY SUMMIT".

BTW, I can't find COLOR's stuff online, too.
I had their some analogs before.
"Gekitotsu" and "Fools!! Get lucky!!".
Their sounds was terrible (hehe), but they had most important something of ROCK.
I wish you will find these someday. (sorry, Hitomi Power is very weak about this)

But you might be able to find the stuffs "Sister's No Future".
This duo (or something) was formed by Dynamite Tommy and Kenzi (leader of Kamaitachi).
Unfortunately, I have not seen "Sister's No Future".
But I heard this duo was very extreme and wonderful.

This is Sister's No Future

BTW, I will make Japanese Rock Bands's thread in General music-talk.
So we can talk more about those.

EXTASY RECORDS I know about. I found a small video on YouTube with some bands from the label performing "X", and then X comes in aswell to add to it as a surprise. That's really cool to see. The crowd loves, they explode X comes out. I haven't heard of "Free Will". Maybe someone has it on YouTube.

Too had Hitomi Power is weak about that. That's alright, thanks anyway ;) I'll let you know if I find out something. I'll check out Sister's No Future aswell.

It's really mysterious that COLOR seems not to have existed at all.

In those days, X and COLOR were always introduced by Japanese Rock Magazine together.

Actually, they always played here and there together.
(They had broken many shops or something many times, hehehe)

Let's go to "Japanese Rock Bands" thread.
