Who doesn't love lyrics, especially when they are like magic
"When I find out all the reasons
Maybe I'll find another way
Find another day
With all the changing seasons of my life
Maybe I'll get it right next time
An now that you've been broken down
Got your head out of the clouds
You're back down on the ground
And you don't talk so loud
An you don't walk so proud
Any more, and what for?"
Band and song: You should know this

Even though i'm not a fan of CrashDïet after the Dave era i must admit Overnight is a darn good song. It's so cold. And i really prefer TUR over GW.mrs v. viper wrote:

no to both things actually. Lyrics that I could identify with the past usually stay there. Ofc they remind me of the times then, but the connection is gone, and i usually don't cherish them either because past is past and in my case usually means it was a shit time.
OFC there are lyrics that never lose their meaning to you, because they are timeless beautiful or timeless true. A good exemple for that is this::
"Overnight your life can turn around
you ain't the same anymore
say goodbye to the life that you have known
you ain't the same anymore."
