What a loss for the whole music buiz. I can remember pretty well when I discovered Crashdiet and the first thing I had to read was the death of the lead singer, what a miserable momemt that was.

I won't lie, I often wonder this too

Well you know how the story goes, if it's too loud then you're too old.

I had the same experience. And just when I saw that David was dead, I realised that I'd read the newspaper a couple of years ago about some swedish rock star who had died... if I'd only known then how much he would mean to me one day....

Exactly, I rememder finding RIS and listening through it like 5 times a day, "Holy shit! This is fucking awesome! This is the best since Appetite if not better!". When I decided to look more into the band I read the wikipedia article, WHY!? I immidiatly felt hopeless, so a new rocker is about to bring back the scene into the big lights and he killed himself.

Listen to an album from a band you've never heard of every day, get enlightened! :)

okay some people don't truly understand the role depression plays in your life, (and you think you do, just becuz you've had a few bad days, well thats nothing compared to what someone people have to go thru every second of their lives)

and ofc becuz alot never witness the hell world depression creates for you, people think were crazy when you tell them about your depression, so its easier to not tell anyone, and then it builds up to a point your not yourself anymore, only looking in the mirror but seeing someone else, cuz your not yourself anymore, having no control..

So, out of all people, i know how it feels to go through depression as most of you know, but everyday i wish that i never wake up, ofc you have to witness it to believe and understand it, and don't tell me "everyone's has there own problems, or problems cant be measured and blah blah blah, thats stupid, and to understand what my thoughts are, you must live what im saying, live with being depressed, i'd never want to compared my problems to dave, but i can compared the same thoughts of wishing to go down the way he did everyday, every min., every second haunting my mind for the past 3 years..something im not proud of, or something i dont speak of to anyone, and never will..i've lost alot of people cuz of it, and some just stop talking, which is fine, its there decision

i hope for no-one to have to witness this way to misery, and becuz alot of people would NEVER understand only means they never have witness these problems to fully understand, which in the end it is BETTER to not understand, so you dont have to witness such pain!!

sorry to have bought this up, i just believe people who are saying "why" and "your stupid" to dave for killing himself doesn't truly understand, its always sad to here about your favorite rockstars dieing, no-matter which band, but when i hear its becuz of depression, i can truly understand the role it plays and changes your life forever, no-matter who you are!!

Did Dave told you he had depression?

What let you think so?
