i loved it :) i really liked how the bands have made the songs a little bit more of their own and I think Swan's voice is great for Lost Horizions. can't wait for the release

only the version of Blackrain and Pompei Nights were good imo

Yeah I just liked Lost Horizons... but there are not many covers that are better than the original, so I wasn't expecting too much either.

me too I wasnt keen of the whole idea since the beginning. I think the only version which could be proabalby better than the original will be Peep Shows Breakin the chainz

yeah, my internet seems to have gone to sleep so I can't watch the video again right now, but I generally think that if a band shall cover a song, they should do it to "their own" and not just try to play it exactly like the original. More changes = more fun

I totally agree with this. I really hoped they would do that a little more. I think then it would be a real tribute. I thought it all sounded a bit like they've just done technically okay covers but it lacks ambition all over.
I actually liked Cyanide 4 the most because I thought they managed to make it a little more their own way.
And Lost Horizons.
I still think it's agreat idea, and a great thing for those bands, I mean they are all very young more or less aren't they. I think the idea behind this counts more than the actual result.

I think I agree with you on that one. :)
I think I'm still a little uneasy at the idea of a cover of Lost Horizons, but I'll hold judgement until I actually hear a full version. :P

Well you know how the story goes, if it's too loud then you're too old.

"Finished the vocals for 'Breaking The Chainz' which will appear on the Reborn In Sleaze album, a tribue to the late Dave Lepard. Mr Lepard certainly was one of a kind and it has been an honour pay tribute to him. Make sure you buy a copy when the album is released!" - Johnny Gunn just wrote this on his Facebook
