Alright people... I've been thinking about this. I don't want to close this thread due to the fact that it's a fairly small amount of people that are actually active at this forum and it might drag down the activity even more, but, on the other side, I want the forum to work as a place where you communicate and share your thoughts with others. I'm quite split.
So.
Let's hear your opinions.

1. Do you think this thread should still be here?
2. Does it fulfill any purpose?
3. Have you discovered new music through listening to other peoples recommendations?
4. Should we have any restrictions (like 1 post/day or so)?

I think it should stay. But maybe a restriction would be nice, so that this isnt the only alive thread. If people cant post ten posts in this thread each day, maybe they'll spread the posts into other threads. I think its fun to see what other people listen to, its not often, but it happens that people are listening to something that I've meant to check out, or listening to something that I though I was the only person to have heard.

I wouldn't mind if that topic was completely gone, but I think Sheila got a fair point here. Restrictions could be good (one post here per day), but if it was up to me, I'd also take out points from writing here (not that points matter to me at all) if that's technically possible. Just my two cents.

1. Yes, I think that this thread should be here. I can see why people would not like this topic to stay. But I like to scream in everybody's face what I listen to.
2. For some probably, for some, probably not. It can be a way to discover new music and such.
3. I have for sure, even more before when the forum was a bit more active. But throughout my ages I have participated in the "give and take" that this topic should ultimately aim for. You share what you listen to, but you also try to listen to some of the music that others have posted. If you find the person interesting and their musical tastes often matching yours.
4. I don't really think so. If it is not too much pain in your ass Izzie, i recommend that you warn people that might abuse this thread.

I agree. The fiber would be good to keep. But allow only one post a day.
