This is a really hard decision to make becauseI love all the albums and demos almost equally, but I'll go with The Savage Playground. This album is damn near perfect to me. It still has that typical Crashdiet sound with a little different flavor to keep things fresh. I think this album was a huge transition for the band and proves that they aren't a one trick pony, and I have a feeling the next record is gonna be perfect.

I absolutely cannot wait to hear what the next album will sound like, I know it'll be a while but I'll try to be patient!

I'd actually say that Savage is my favorite record so far. It's the most diverse, complex, has piano, strings, nice raw sound, a band that knows where they wanna be, writing contribution by all four members, it has everything ;). Goin' strong and first album with the same lead singer as on the previous record, it surely had an impact too. You found your way and you found your frontman. The progress is visible and I'm sure that the next album, whenever it comes out, will follow that path! :)

Rest In Sleaze. However, i kinda miss having California White on that album.

let these words proclaim the blessing.

It's usually the first song I hear by a band that becomes a favorite and that was Cocaine Cowboys(which a friend showed me a week before the band played in my city and it made my night to see them got a bass pick and a drum stick) but I gotta go with GW and RIS. Both of those have my two favorite songs So Alive and Breaking the Chainz so I usually listen to them a bit more but then I would tie TSG and TUR. Also So Alive and Breaking the Chainz were the first two Crash tunes I learned on bass. Probably not correct but it works.

Definitely "Rest In Sleaze". I remember listening to it for the first time, just when it came out back in 2005, was like a breath of fresh air. Great hooks, amazing lyrics, catchy choruses and melodies. I was a 14-year-old obsessed with 80's rock n' roll and the glory days of the whole glam sleaze fashion reneissance were about to start. The only other =new= bands that were actually good at that time were Vains Of Jenna and Loud N' Nasty, I guess. With Crashdiet definitely leading the bunch. There was always something magical about this release, and still is. I had been listening to this one all the time for a couple of months til I learnt all the lyrics by heart. Then suddenly the info about Dave's suicide came out of the blue and I couldn't listen to RIS for quite some time. Weird feeling, indeed.

"Unattractive Revolution" was quite a dissapointment to me but I loved "In the raw". The rest isn't too good in my opinion, except 2 or 3 songs maybe.

"Generation Wild" was a typical half-killer, half-filler release. I guess "Native Nature" and the title track would be somewhere in my TOP 5 Crashdiet songs.

As for "The Savage Playground" - sounds totally bland to me and I still can't really get into it. "Cocaine Cowboys" is quite ok, the rest kinda gets me bored.

Hmm… I thought it was a record with a fulltime-killer tune… what are your other songs that made it to your Top 5?
