So....First!!

I found this myspace accidentally

http://www.myspace.com/officialcreaturecreature

He (MORRIE) was singer and leader of DEAD END.
He makes cool sounds still now :)
He is a singer of Creature Creature now.

Creature Creature

DEAD END

This band was very charismatic band in Japan of 80's era.
They influenced lots of bands.
(Expecially Luna Sea)
They were called Emperor of Independent(before X),
and sold this album "Dead Line" over 20,000 copies in those days. (released 1986)

.

DEAD END's all members were so awesome players,
Especially guitarist YOU was great guitarist.
He was one of heroes for young metal guitarists.
And bassist Crazy Cool Joe was really cute girlie boy, like Peter :)
He was so gorgeous, lots of girls were crazy about him, hehe.

Thanx, Night_Princess!!
I am always surprised European ppl knows Japanese bands well!!
EZO, Loudness, Show-Ya were also legends of Japanese metal of 80's :)

BTW I have bad news about Loudness...
They are touring in Japan now, but
The drummer Munetaka Higuchi announced his illness and left their tour...
His illness is cancer...
I hope he will come back early...
(Though I didn't like his character, his drumming is awesome, so...)

See Loudness live will be a dream come true for us.
We really love their music, friday's nights without dance "Crazy Nights" is a nightmare for us...hahaha

Ooohh!
Another band that we love is 44 Magnum, it's the favourite band of my bestfriend.
She knows a lot of Japanese Bands, I'm a little more lost in this kind of bands but they're really good.

44 Magnum are good indeed. Really hard band. EZO, and DEAD END are awesome too. DEAD END went from metal to more melodic as the years passed. Still, even less metal they are great. I heard about Loudness too. That's too bad. Hope he gets cured. More sad news includes the physical death of the singer of TOKYO YANKEES. Sucks big time. He will live on forever through the music, and memories though.

This thread will be awesome. Hitomi can tell us about all the great bands like COLOR, BELLZLEBB, LADIES ROOM, BILLY & THE SLUTS, SPEED-iD, VIRUS, TOKYO YANKEES, the mighty ZI:KILL, and others. Here's this weeks list for Hitomi

I didn't know this news at all...can't believe...
I Knew him directly...he was gentle and shy boy in my eyes...
UME chan and Ladies Room's Sex George were most important friends like little brothers for Yoshiki...
It was HIDE's funeral that I saw UME chan last.
I remember I was relieved UME chan was together with Yoshiki,
cuz he always guarded Yoshiki just like shadow or something...

I am so shocked now...

It is a sad event that has happened. However, I believe that he will guard over every one like he did in the past ;) Believe he is in a good place, perhaps recording new vocals for hide's music ;) *hug for hitomi*

Great thread, hitomi!
I don't know much about the older Japanese bands... So I'd like to learn about them!
The old bands I really listen to are BUCK-TICK, LUNA SEA, B'z, X and I like COLOR too, even if I don't have any of their music, hoho.
I don't know, but does Kuroyume count as one of the "older" bands? 'Cause I really like them.
I like all of Kiyoharu's work. :)

I know more about newer bands, and I could ramble on about them but I'll have to take that some other time, because I have trouble with focusing atm, since I recentley lost my dog and it broke my heart...

But I recommend people to listen to MUCC's latest album!
Many MUCC fans don't like it, but I think it's really awesome. :)
"shiva" is my favourite song on that album.

Also, I am so sorry about the loss of your friend, hitomi.
I hope you're doing OK!
