Thank you for the info.
I didn't know it at all!

The new song is very good though it is really short part.
I am convinced Yoshiki's song always needs Toshi's voice.
It is quite perfect when his song gets Toshi's voice.
Even Gackt cannot satisfy it.
I don't like Toshi's weak character.
Cuz his character was one reason of disband thing.
However I welcome his voice on Yoshiki's songs again.
( I don't welcome X japan reunion thing though )

And I think living in fukkin LA finally has a meaning for Yoshiki.
I have never thought it's good for Yoshiki at all.
But, Now, It has a meaning indeed :)
J-rock revolution seems to succeed somehow.
I'm glad his long time-efforts had meanings.
Yes he is alwayz a standard-bearer of J.

You're welcome ;)

Yes, Toshi's voice seems to fit the best with Yoshiki's music. Music sounds good. Toshi sounds great as ever. Never missed a beat in ten years 8-) I believed living in LA was not a good thing for Yoshiki as well, but perhaps now it does have meaning. Took long enough though  The festival was a big success. Lots of people in the US were exposed to Japanese bands. People are already asking for another one. We'll if he can handle doing everything he's up to at the moment at the same time

You can watch a video of latest X JAPAN here :)
http://streaming.yahoo.co.jp/newsflash/ ... _0001.html

Toshi is not already Rock Star...but I'm glad to be able to watch he singing Yoshiki's song...

And Yoshiki holds HIDE doll in this video.
(Maybe a fan gave to him it...)

I heard HIDE's unpublished sounds was included in this song " I.V.".
Yoshiki said " We wanted to debut to world together with HIDE ".
So he recorded HIDE's sounds in this song...

Those days, only HIDE understood Yoshiki's dream.
Other members couldn't imagine it almost, Especially Toshi.
Actually Late of 80's and early 90's, PPl thought it's impossible that Japanese metal band debut to world.
Loudness tried to do it, but they really had a hard fight in US.

So Yoshiki thought that a kind of political ability was necessary.
This was important reason that Yoshiki moved to LA, I think.

However I and Japanese fans and even band members didn't like his lifestyle like Hollywood stars.

But, time went by...I cannot but admit that his choice was not wrong.
I am a strong-willed person.
But Yoshiki is more strong-willed person.
I respect him still now. (I don't like his latest fashion at all though  )

I believe bands focus too much on the US alone while there are so many places they can focus on. There's Europe, Australia, other parts of Asia. Political power shouldn't rule a band's life. If you need to get succes in the US or anywhere trough politics then that's the wrong place.

However, at R&R business, US rules still now UNFORTUNATELY

Those days, I thought Yoshiki should move to Europe.
Cuz I thought European ppl can understand Yoshiki sound's delicacy, subtleties of feelings. (but US.... )

Now some situation changed in US, I think.
At last, his music seems to be accepted by US a little.
( musically and politically... )

It needed long long time though...

Well, he can always go to Europe when he feels like it. Now it seems his time there seems to work out for the better. We'll see what happens in the future. Don't think that the US rules R&R at all. More bands seem to come from Europe, and Japan then from the US. They seem to follow the trends more, while in other places there is more room for original stuff. Specially in Japan is creativity still flowing.

But it is not so eazy on music business unfortunately.
PPl doubts and hates such US rules though. me, too.
However it still rules the world as international situation...

Yoshiki had learned the structure of Japanese music business and Japanese law by himself since his young era.
Cuz those were too bad for musicians for a long time.
Major record companies thought Rock stars were foolish and they exploited from rock bands.
Yoshiki hated it so much and he thought he should have to learn law things to guard their music and right.
Actually when X released " vanishing vision ", lots of major record companies had offered to contract with them.
But he readily didn't contract with any record companies.
At last he selected CBS-SONY that showed the smallest contract deposit.
Cuz they promised to protect right of X's music and young producer Mr. Tsuda fought with his record company for X.

After all, Yoshiki learned only music cannot protest musician's right, we need a kind of political ability and a kind of stream of time.

He is not only pure genius of music but he is an excellent businessman.
Though the narrow fans hate it, but I respect it.
OFC I respect pure musician, too. But I support Yoshiki's thoughts, too.

As my taste, I love European and Japanese music taste more than US taste since my young era.
(OFC I love American bands, Motley Crue, NIN and TOOL and so on though)
However I cannot but admit US music business is the rule in the world still now.
If you go to US and see the situation in US, you will admit it soon.

Good that Yoshiki is a good business man then. Good that he prepared himself for to protect his music from the bad business men in the music business that only want to exploit bands for their own profits. Though, these days those kind of businesses are getting less, because bands take more control of their own stuff which in a way is a good thing.

Hi Raw!!
Sorry, late reply cuz I had a cold ( still now :( so I couldnt come here... )

I'm glad you are X fan here :)
Yeah " X " is really old song for them, it was written in Yoshiki's highschool era.
And I dont remember when fans started to make " X " by their arms at the gig, hehe.
I remember all fans ( old fans and young fans ) made it at their last live, it was last time...
but they will make it next year surely!!
Cuz X JAPAN will play in Tokyo again next year. ( the only one concert )
( However they will not on tour, cuz Yoshiki hates such reunion tour thing since his young era. )

Last live was my most memorial concert, it was awesome, but there were lots of thoughts and feelings too much for me and ppl concerned and all fans.
So I cannot watch last live video still now.
The worst thing was the last movie that HIDE played as X JAPAN.
( When I say precisely, it was not last movie. Cuz just after the last live, they played "Last Song" at the stage of NHK - like Japanese National broadcasting - for fans who couldn't enter the Tokyo Dome )

And...I hate " Last Song " actually....too sad for me, and it was not X type at all...

Anyway, I wrote a litte about last live here :)
http://www.crashdiet.org/phpBB2/viewtop ... c&start=20

I remeber Korean, Taiwanese and Chinese came there at that time,
Cuz X JAPAN was popurar in Asia already.
However I couldn't understant how they could get tickets!!
Even most Japanese fans couldn't get tickets at that time!!
It was sold out in a few seconds!!

About this, there were more stories...
X always made such stories and legends...
