I think someone said in an earlier post (that got kind of buried) that it got pushed back to September.

Well you know how the story goes, if it's too loud then you're too old.

I'm still in two minds about this, but I'll definitely check it out.

Well, for sure it won't be as half good as the original album but it will be interesting to hear few of those covers ;).

I don't think anyone thinks its going to come close to the original. :P.
I'm not even sure why I'm interested to hear the covers, though. Any you're particularly looking forward to?

Also, here's a question; Are there any bands that you'd rather were on the CD instead?

No doubts about that ;).

Yeah me too, I don't think I will listen to this album a lot but we'll see :). I'm particularly interested in Peep Show, Hell In The Club and BlackRain covers, don't know other bands :P.

Well there's a lot but usually older/more famous bands do not cover younger ones, with exceptions of course (Metallica covering bands no one would know about, I had to :P). So maybe this tribute CD will be quite good :).

hmm I'm split about this. I was fond of the idea of young bands paying tribute to their idols first but now I'm not so sure anymore... I think I'd like it a lot more if there would be more more original sounding bands on it. Maybe bands coming from another background even, who still have a coonection, so it would feel less like small sleaze bands crying for attention. very split about this...

Yeah think of a thrash metal band doing a cover of Tikket for example! :)
